So I don't know if this is just me, but I've felt like time has been passing by faster now than it did when we were kids. Every college semester speeds by quicker than the last. I guess I thought it'd be fitting to take some time to have play something that reminds me, and hopefully you, of a time when seconds moved slow and we had no worries.
Late Nights & New Sounds

(For ______)|Disclosure vs. MNEK - White Noise (Full Crate & FS...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0MuVQV0W0w
Usually I'd make a post telling you when to listen this, put in some researched information about the artists, and end with a link on where you can find more on the artists. But, I'm actually not near a wifi zone to do this, while I've had this song on repeat for awhile, I never took the time to look up more on them due to my therestoftheirmusicmaysuck-o-phobia, and (most importantly) i wanted to post on time for once! Also, there's this obnoxious guy that's been yelling "WHERE ARE YOU?" for the past 30 mins and I just want to walk up to him and go "Here, eat a snickers."
However, I can say that this remix is better than the original but eh that's just my opinion. Listen and, if you know more music like this, let me know ASAP.

(Relaxation/Interesting)|Akara - Projection

Listen To For...
- ...Something to supply creative inspiration.
- ...The need of orchestration music with a little wub because a little wub never hurts anyone.
- ...Because look at that album art. Just look at it.
My Opinion & Info on Group:
- I really like the combination of orchestra instrumentals with electronic effects and sounds. In this particular song, there is a noticeably large prevalence of string instruments working together with (what seems to me to be) a dubstep influence. Added with obscure sounds that seem like wind chimes and water drains (or maybe that's just me) and it comes out well. Also, there is a story within the album. (which I shamefully admit I haven't read in the past 2 years I've had the album)
- Headed by Joshua Penman (shown above,) a classical composer turned electronic producer, the music created by himself and his live ensemble encompasses nearly twelve years and three continents worth of cultural influence and musical research.

(SleepTime/Relaxation)|Relaxing Piano Music
Listen To For...
- ...That time of the
nightmorning when you finally said "I'll FINISH THIS IN THE MORNING." and never looked at your alarm clock. - ...After a long day at the library studying in your imagination.
- ...If you like trippy videos.
IMO
- A while back I was using PaulFromStokeUK's music to focus on an essay. A smart thing that he does with this is that he buries the alpha waves under the piano playing. Personally, it makes listening to alpha waves less trippy. According to his YouTube, alpha wave frequencies are a natural occurring rhythm in our brains when we're deeply relaxed. So I'd definitely recommend it.

(Studying/Pump Up Music)|Jonas Rathsman - "Bringing You Down"
Listen To If...
Bio (from Artist's Site)
More of This Artist At:
- ...you feel uninspired to continue on that one assignment that's been sitting on your calender/procrastination app for half a semester
- ...you have two or more other people willing to dance like idiots
- ...you're bored and you just like house music/simple drum patterns
IMO
- Listening to the song not only when you need a little pump of energy, but also while you putting that energy to use studying. The fact that it's a more relaxed "fist pump" song versus a "headbanging fist pump" song helps keep you in your seat.
- "Jonas Rathsman born in 1980 and raised far from urban vanity, neon lights and contemporary club culture in a small village in Western Sweden. Music was always central in his adolescence, but the true passion for music would come later in life. At the age of 18, after moving to the Manchester of Sweden – Gothenburg – he started organizing parties and clubs and quickly rose in the underground hierarchy of Sweden's 2d largest city. Within short he was a household name in Gothenburg, which gave him access to a more musically seasoned audience. It was during this time that Jonas starting discovering the nuances of the endless genres of club music and decided to up the ante and go into production
- Together with his close friend Fredrik Nyberg, aka Dj Nibc, they started releasing material under the alias Stuffa, which received a lot of recognition both on the underground scene in Europe and on more mainstream club floors.
- In 2010 Stuffa released their third official single Proof on Defected, which became a huge anthem that year.
Last year, Jonas decided to commit further into an intrinsic creative process and explore his music on a more profound level. He also decided to expose himself further to the industry by abandoning all pseudonyms and releasing his work under his own name. The result of this process was his debut EP "Tobago", which was released on French Express in December 2011. Tobago received massive support both virally and traditionally and was played on BBC Radio 1 shortly after its release. As a result, the track appeared on numerous recognized dj's mixtapes, including a Magician's Magic Tape. Tobago has recently been signed to Defected and will be released before the summer of 2012.- As a creative at heart, Jonas Rathsman is also the co-owner and producer behind the collective and fashion brand Uniforms for the Dedicated. He is currently scheduled to tour in Europe and visit some of club music´s most prestigious venues. His music is getting more recognizing by the day for its organic and playful flair, stimulating vocals and classic club flow."
